Hey everyone!

First of all, I want to start by saying THANK YOU for allt the kind words, faves and watches that's flooding in right now. I can't believe that so many people appreciates my art and I really can't thank you guys enough. I'll try to at least get back to all of your sweet comments. I'll try to keep deliver stuff that you may like and do my best not to disappoint you

X-mas holidays was wonderful and I spent it with my loved ones and people very close to me and I had many opportunities to just rest and sleep. Feels like I haven't gotten enough sleep for years, hehe.
We were even lucky with the weather and it was the first year for ages(perhaps overexaggerating a little hehe) that we actually had a whitex-mas. And it's been minusdegrees and awful cold for weeks now. I don't complain so much though, as long as I'm staying inside. But you guys should see the view! It looks like narnia or some other fairytale..

Work-wise I'm about to start freelancing pretty soon, just have to register a few stuff before that, but it's on the way! Meanwhile I've been very busy with polishing my portfolio and I take every opportunity to do studies or add stuff that's missing.

I'm also putting together some information regarding COMMISSIONS! Which I'm open for right now
Not too many slots though, I haven't decided how many I'll have yet.
I know that contracts between the commissioner and the client is good to have, so if anyone know's a nice template or if there's anything I should think of, don't hesitate to come with suggestons!


Well, that's all I can come up with roght now
Now I have to continue with a study and some new artwork for you guys to look at!

One more tme, thank you so much for all the great feedback, and even though I don't have the chance to get back to everyone, I assure you that I read everything.

Hope everyone's doing well, and once again, thank you all for your nice comments, faves and watches. I truly appreciate them, even though I can't get back to each one of you

Oh so what's happened since last time I wrote..

I had an amazing summer, and as I expected, I could'nt stay away from the computer and personal work for that long But it's been awesome.
I also took the opportunity to spend some time at the stable and enjoy the beautiful foresty surroundings there. And I got the greatest news - THE RIDING SCHOOL SURVIVED!! They managed to get some support, and I'm so incredibly glad for that.

Other than that, work started again after summer and now I'm on the train again writing this. This is probably my last month though, since my contract will end in Dec. Feels a bit strange not to work at the office where I've been for the past 1 1/2 years anymore, but in another way, it also feels very refreshing.

I've been very curious about this whole freelancing thing for a very, very long time, and I'm so eager to actually give it a shot now. Yeah there'll be some really tough months ahead of me I guess... But I'll sure try hard until I can make it as a freelancer too. I dare to actually believe in myself now compared to last year when my selfesteem wasn't the best... Feels great that it's all in the past now.

We'll see what happens

Otherwise we're all fine. Boyfriend is fine and our fluffy purring persian blanket is fine too . The weather is a bit boring though(dark, cold, cloudy, rainy) but hey, that's the least we should worry about! I may paint some more stuff with lots of yellow's in them, to cheer up the mood.

Well, summer is finally here, and I have just one more stressful week ahead of me before I can take 4 weeks of holidays to recharge my completely worn out batteries. I really need it, so it's gonna be awesome not doing anything at all, or at least nothing work-related. We'll se tough, how long time it will take before I get restless and pick up something fun to work on.. I'll say.. hm, at least after the first week of my time off. hehe. I guess that's the fate of a workoholic as many of us probably are.

One sad thing though... which is nonwork-related.
Dunno if I've mentioned it before, but for those who don't know, my secondary hobby is horseback riding. Nothing beats the feeling you get when being around horses and environments with stables and enchanting nature surrounded by it. I've been riding on and off for many years, and after having a 2 year long break because of a nasty riding accident, I got back on the saddle and started out taking lessons again at a small riding school on the countryside. Usually, I don't really prefer ridings scools, since it often gets too stressful, especially for the horses.
But this place is really small, with about 13 hrses in total, and the classes are really small. Often we're not more than 2-3 people at the same time, so it's basically private education and for a really low cost compared to other schools.
I've been there once a week for a year now, and it's been one of the biggest higlights of the week, because it helps me stress down and relax.

Unforunately though, we got some really sad news a while ago, that says that they're gonna shut down the place after summer... Because of the lack of income, and contribution rejections. It really sucks because the family who runs the place, is not out for earning a shitload of money, they doing it for fun and it really shows - and that makes these surcumstances even more unfair.

The members are currently looking for solutions to keep the activity alive. I've been searching for solutions too, but it feels kinda hopeless.

So instead of really enjoying summer and looking forward to the riding tours this summer, I'm feeling a bit down every time I think of that place :/
My biggest wish right now is, that the riding shool by some miracle, will survive.


Other than that, I'm thinking about starting with commissions after I had my well- needed rest from work. Dunno yet how many slots I should have, nor how I shall put up the prices, but I'll think a little about it and see if i'll come up with something.

Yeh, that's kinda all for now. I hope that everyone's doing well, and enjoying the summer.

Whoah, finally some rest after a tough week!
I'm really longing for easter now, and the warm sun! Right now it's just all cludy and cold and stuff..

Hey everyone!

I promised an update on how everything goes, since my last descent update was.. well ages ago *halo*
The reason is that I've been so busy with work lately (starting to sound like such a cliché).
I graduated from school(uni) last summer, and ever since I've been working mostly as a concept and storyboard artist at a film company here in Sweden, where I also had my internship. Evidently, it seemed that they were somewhat pleased with what I produced and they decided to keep me fulltime.
And that's where I've been ever since.
I've been secretely dreaming about working in the film industry for so long, so I'm really glad that my first job ended up there right away. That's not an opportunity one can have every day.
Even though, it may sound very fancy, it haven't been the easiest sometimes. it definitely has it's ups and downs.
I've been working very hard this first year, learning as much as possible and to get the experience you may need out in the industry, wow there's som much out there to learn!

Also, as I don't live in the same city as where my job is located(due to a supersweet boyfriend who I moved in with), I have to take the fast train to work every day, and my days get very long.
Luckily, I managed to turn this into my benefit, since I got plenty of time to paint and exercize different techniques on my laptop while traveling - Most of latest the pictures that you can see in my gallery, has been created during my trips back and forth to work
I'm sitting on the train while typing this as well

So that's what I've been up to!

Other than that, tings are going all fine. Our kitten has gotten really big and miscievious, and he's turning 1 in may. Time goes so fast..

I just finished a new painting today as well. A creature concept, which I'll upload later when I get access to some internet

And I just wanna thank everyone AGAIN for all the kind comments and faves I got on Princess Mononoke, it just recently passed over 20 000 views... I still can't believe that it got so popular, and I'm forever grateful that I got the chance to show it to so many people that day.  I started to reply and thank everyone, and I realized that it will take AGES before I'm done with everyone.. So it don't reply, don't worry, I'm not ignoring you, I've read everything and I appreciate it very much!

Just saw yesterday that I got flooded by kind words and faves, and that Princess Mononoke got a DD.
Even though, thousands of people responded to my art, I'm gonna try to reply and thank everyone(this will take a while, hehe)
Until then, I'd like to thank you all in this journal entry instead.
You have no idea how much this means to me, and I'm so glad you all liked my piece that much. I never though that I'll get such huge attention.

I'm gonna get back and write a more detailed report of my life and how everything goes for me nowadays, since my last entry was over a year ago.
I'm at work right now, so I had a chance to write this during my coffebreak.

My website has gone through some major adjustments when it comes to amount of brightness and contrast of the pictures.
Everything except the thumbnails are fixed, hence to lack of energy( first week at school, it was a bit hectic)
I'll get back and fix the rest... Probably tomorrow.

I really hope that it's not too dark right now. I've borrowed the computers at school to fix them, and they just bought a bunch of new computers with new screens and everything, so they should be tiptop and able show me the truth.. Since my own screen's retarded..

Now they should look just they way I expected them too.
